Martin uses his knowledge of the urban landscape to drive his work. In this project he considers the artistic notions of beauty determined by composition. The images are very deliberately gathered at times when the spaces are unpopulated as this embraces the identity of the space. This is important as the identity of urban spaces are altered by the people who appear within, creating a false identity.
