This project considers the impact our throw-away culture has on our urban landscapes. The Things We Leave Behind can be anything that has simply been discarded as it no longer has any use to us.

It is not about the large scale of these things, rather the extent to which we throw these things away. Not always exclusively litter, these things can be unwanted technology, unused market stalls or forgotten road signs; The Things We Leave Behind.

The use of black and white images here is key to removing the obvious signs of identity that colour provides, thus forcing viewers to analyse the narratives of the images and the series.
